SECURITY MANAGER

Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Advise the Company on any specific threats to Company personnel, assets, information, and business operations
  2. Coordinate risk and crisis management processes
  3. Provide security briefing to management on security issues and prevailing security environment in the Country
  4. Assess and evaluate third party security service providers
  5. Complain on behalf of the Company on all security related cases to law enforcement agencies
  6. Compile and agree on security budget

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILS & EXPIRIENCE:

  • Degree in Social Sciences with a relevant professional qualification from a  recognised  military/or police institution
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in Security
  • Understanding the potential threats to personnel, assets, information, installations and business operations and using this knowledge in order to carry out the relevant assessments an produce appropriate security procedures and plans
  • Ensuring the performance of the guard force, consultants and contractors are effectively monitored and that their performance is of high standard and in accordance with RMA best practice
  • Accurate and concise reports are being submitted on time to the Head-Human Resources and any agreed actions are effectively and timely implemented
  • Achieving full control of access at all locations, key systems, stock movements, asset transfer, ensuring that no products or other company assets/property are illegally removed from RMA premises

Ensuring that Security operates within agreed budget
