Prominent Agribusiness Company – Lundazi, Nyimba, Mpongwe, Kabwe, Choma and Lusaka
Join a prominent leader in the in the agricultural business sector and one of the most innovative and top performng entities in the SADC Region.
Drive the performance and management of an Agro Retail Farm Outlet and take responsibility for the day to day management of the Store in order to ensure timely ordering, adequate stocking and sale of agro-inputs to farming communities while creating maximum stake holder value.
Desired Skills and Experience
To qualify for this role and to be considered as a candidate, you would need the following minimum skills, experience and qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Agri-Business, General Agriculture or Sales and Marketing Dimploma/Degree with relevant agro retail industry experience
A minimum of 3 years previous experience in Agro Retail or Agro Marketing in the Zambian context –preferably focused in an urban and rural trading environment- general agricultural experience is desired
Experience in procurement and farmer need identification.
Good product knowledge and understanding of farming inputs such as fertilizers, seed, and chemicals herbicides etc.
Effective communication skills to build customers loyalty and confidence
A track record in managing the expansion of a store or growing sales in agri-retail/agri-marketing.
Experience in use of point of sale.
Excellent computer skills and office packages especially excel.
Excellent merchandizing, stocks control skills as well as ability to conduct reconciliations.
Ability to effectivley lead small team of store staff
