Job Description

1.0 JOB TITLE and GRADE: HUMAN RESOURCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER (WWSC3)

2.0 DEPARTMENT/SECTION: Human Resource and Administration

3.0 REPORTING TO: Managing Director

4.0 RESPONSIBLE FOR: Senior Human Resource Officer and Administrative Officer

5.0 LIAISON WITH: Managing Director, Commercial Manager, Technical Manager, and Project
Manager

6.0 PURPOSE OF JOB: To manage the human resource and administration functions of Western Water and Sewerage Company and develop and implement effective human resource strategies, policies, procedures and practices which support the achievement of the Company’s business objectives.

7.0   QUALIFICATIONS

(i) Minimum of Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration or Social Sciences

(ii) Minimum of 3-5 years working experience from a commercial company, preferably within the water utility sector

(iii) Computer literate

(iv) Member of ZIHRM

(v) Female candidates are a priority and experience in the water sector is an added advantage.
